 It's
possible that as many as 27-30,000,000
(27-30 MILLION) HUMAN BEINGS are brutally
enslaved in the world today. Of that incomprehensible number, TWO MILLION ARE CHILDREN
involved in sex trafficking...including American girls and boys (12 is
the average starting age.)
SLAVERY
is not only still being practiced TODAY in America, there are MORE
slaves now in the world today than at any other time in human history.
According to most reports, 80% are female and 50% are children.
MOST of the coffee, cocoa and chocolate you consume is NOT Fair Trade. Both the coffee and chocolate industries utilize child slaves to harvest the crops
and coffee
farmers worldwide are being paid slave wages...and many are losing their farms.
4 million slaves
were released after the Civil War. Today's numbers are
much, much
higher. HOW can slavery have come back so strongly...
even in the USA...and yet still be
so unknown to many Americans????
